Pre-Order Fundraiser

Guys, I’m sharing something close to my heart. Over the course of writing The Left-Hand Path, I’ve done a lot of studying up on Haitian vodou, which in turn has led to reading a fair bit about the country itself and its history. It’s a fascinating place with a story that’s both inspiring and saddening all at once. The people of Haiti are still struggling against poverty and natural disasters today. In the past, I’ve donated to a group called Hope for Haiti that does incredible work for Haiti and its people.

Hope for Haiti trains local teachers and midwives, builds solar-powered classrooms, Haitian-run infirmaries, and clean water sites, distributes vitamins and vaccines, and operates a cooking school, garden, and business education program for local women. They are truly working to empower the people of Haiti to improve their lives and the lives of their children.

As I’m sure you all know, as much as I’ve come to care about this beautiful island, it means even more to Nathan.

Since he can’t ask you himself, I’m asking you to donate. From now until the release of The Left-Hand Path: Prodigy on November 3, I’m taking donations for this amazing charity. As an incentive, at the end of the fundraiser, all donors will receive a special thank-you gift from me by mail–more details on that to come. I’ll also be donating all profits from any pre-orders for Prodigy that come through my website (HERE), and those of you who do pre-order will get an extra gift along with your book come November.

I hope you’ll consider giving what you can to this great cause. If you do donate, make sure you drop me a line via email (corvidhouse (at) gmail (dot) com) to let me know your mailing address so that I can send you your gift. I’ll be posting updates soon with more peeks at the reward! Click below to donate.
